My interest in inner processes – initially, my own – began at a time when I was desperate and much of life seemed meaningless. Through therapeutic support, I was able to take my first steps towards a new and more positive perspective on my life. Gradually, I rediscovered how alive, diverse and rich in colours life can be. This experience was my first encounter with therapy. It had a lasting impact on me and sparked my fascination with the dynamics of inner change and transformation.
Out of this interest, I completed my Gestalt training at the Gestalt Forum Freiburg between 2020 and 2023. Bearing witness to people as they move through their personal processes, meeting them with attentiveness and accompanying them on their individual journeys brings me a deep sense of joy and fulfilment.
In 2023, I obtained permission to medicine in accordance with the German Heilpraktikergesetz following my training at the Zentrum für Naturheilkunde (2021–2023). Since then, I have pursued continuing professional development on a regular basis, with a particular focus on meditation, mindfulness, and systemic constellations.
My Therapeutical Background
My work is rooted in the humanistic perspective. It is based on the belief that we have the capacity to make conscious choices, take responsibility for our actions and intentionally shape our lives.
I believe that people have their own resources and the inherent capacity for self-organisation and self-regulation. My role is to support you in finding your own way, rather than offering ready-made solutions.
Gestalt Therapy Session
At the heart of my work is direct experience. Together, we turn our attention towards what is present in the moment – your sensations, thoughts, feelings, needs and relationships. For me, three things are particularly important for a genuine attempt at therapeutic work: a willingness to be present with what is, with kindness and honesty; a benevolent interest without rushing to intervene; and humour.
The relationship between the people who meet each other is of particular importance in a Gestalt therapy session. For me, the foundation of this relationship is equality: an eye-to-eye human encounter. In this spirit, we explore together the complexity and uniqueness of the situation.
A session lasts 50 minutes. The first sessions are primarily an opportunity for us to get to know each other. Building a trusting and sustainable therapeutic relationship, and engaging more deeply with your concerns, generally takes a number of sessions.
