Having, myself, discovered the thrill of effecting profound internal change, I trained in Gestalt therapy, to offer this opportunity to others. Gestalt therapy uses the present moment as the pivotal point for possible change.

My Therapeutical Background
My therapeutic work is based on a humanistic perspective that we are all capable of conscious choice and then acting responsibly to intentionally shape our lives. I assume that all people have a healthy core, and have the ability to self-organise and self-regulate. However, I cannot take your steps for you, but I will support you in your process and development.
Gestalt Therapy Session
My way of working in a therapeutic setting or in counselling is geared towards the direct experience of your current concern. A serious attempt at therapeutic collaboration essentially requires three basic ingredients: the intention to be present in a friendly and genuine way with what is, a well-meaning interest without intervention, and humour.
The heart of a Gestalt therapy session is the relationship between the people who are meeting. The essence of this relationship is equality: an eye-to-eye human encounter. With this in mind, we explore the complexity and uniqueness of the situation together.
A session lasts 50 minutes, so there is plenty of time for your process. Usually, a series of sessions is necessary for a sustainable therapeutic relationship. The first sessions are dedicated to getting to know each other.
